The Design Recovery Workshop

Design + Self-realization
Design is intensely personal. At our Design Recovery Workshops we focus on how the design process starts – with a journey of self-discovery as you clarify your own style.
Our workshops aren’t about interior design training – they’re about you. When you know who you are and what you love you can create a space you love. To get the most meaningful design solution, you need to explore yourself.

What if it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks? When was the last time you thought about the things you loved as a kid? Why did you stop loving them? Is there something about your life that you’d like to change? What does a nurturing space look like for you and how can you create it? How do you make your outsides match your insides?
Design Recovery Workshops help you clarify your vision, connect with your ideals, and close the gap between what you have and what you want. They give yourself permission to do what you want to do. They help you make space for you in your life.
Instead of getting one hour and a paint chip, you get lunch, permission to explore, and lots of ideas. You get yourself.
Design takes time. You’re worth it.

What others are saying about Unlocking your Creative Genius……
I did not expect to learn so much about myself by thinking about my home and my style preferences. The atmosphere was FUN and comfortable, yet we did some serious work. Sarah and Suzi create an environment to explore likes and dislikes while connecting with their deeper meaning. And they didn’t leave us hanging! We finished the day by tying everything together with a peaceful, meaningful ceremony (Sarah rocked the Gong!). Seriously, I liked the ending.
I am inspired!!!! Personally inspired to do what is really right for me. I am going now to buy myself a cream colored comforter. Kim, Costume designer, mom and overall rocking woman
This was an exceptionally lovely experience. The environment was comforting and creatively stimulating. Suzi and Sarah’s generosity and positive attitudes allowed me to feel safe and comfortable sharing my dreams, desires, doubts, and fears with gentle encouragement. I feel more grounded, more aware of my style and my wishes.
The exercises were stimulation, thought provoking and fun, I found the dream day and preferences exercises particularly helpful in opening myself up to my true guiding thoughts. Some of this had surprising results!
This was the best day of restoration and reflection I have had in a long time! Thanks Sarah and Suzi!

I loved it and was so happy to be included! What a great opportunity to just sit and think about such important things. I especially liked looking through the magazines and that we shared everything. I think it’s really beneficial to hear and see (in the magazines) what others do to discover what you like/don’t like. So, I loved that. And really the only thing that could have improved would be having more time! I really liked the preferences exercises- YOU GUYS WERE WONDERFUL!
